Exactly how close do you guys get for your shrinkies? absolutely no room between the shrinkie and your scalp or a bit of hair down, im afraid of burning my scalp if i get toooo close

I did mine as close as I could get with it lying flat to my head not sticking up.  I had a few where it got a little warm but they were somewhat shrunk already so it wasn't too hard to finish them up.
