Ok my g/f has been yelling at me to cut my hair for awhile now its curently just past my shoulders and i usually just brush it back parted in the middle.

The thing is i never really had short hair and have no idea how to get it cut she wants me to it short with a bed head look but i dont know if that would work with my face. Here's a link to a pic it a couple yrs old and dosent look very good but its all i got http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=246484  i still look basically the same minus the facial hair any suggetions on a good short hair style for me would be greatly appreiciated.

I wasn't able to access the picture from your second post.  You'd look good with short messed up hair.  I think that's universally flattering to guys.  If you are not comfortable with a total head messed up look, you could always get a short cut and just "mess up" the front bangs up into the air.

Sounds like you are ready for a change.  Goodluck!

P.S.  Just make sure you don't keep length in the back and short in front because then you'll have an '80s mullet.  Get it cut short all over.

**Hair type: 2a, which is wavy and fine.
**Color: Naturally dark brown, currently dyed reddish brown.
**Length: below shoulder length
