Hi

this is annoying, I straighten my hair then style it with wax, and i use hairspray on it cause it's like, well windy where i am. My hair at the ends eventually curl outwards, and it looks stupid. Like today for example, i havent even left the house once, i done my hair like usual, and about an hour later i noticed it was flicking out at the end. Any tips on how to prevent this?

thanks

Try curling it in at the ends so when it flips out just goes straight.

You spend loads of time straightening it, you load it up with product, and the curl starts to come back starting at the ends every time. Sounds like you've got curly hair.

Consider a style which works with your curly hair rather than against it. Otherwise you'll just be torturing your hair and beating on yourself, because this is the only hair type you're ever going to have.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

have u tried using a heat protectant cream..often helps keep hair straight as well..loreal do one in a pink bottle..called 'HOT' or something like that,

also, when ur straightening it, make sure u run the striaghterner SLOWLY through the hair until its runs off ur hair..dont release the clamps when u think ur getting to the end of ur hair..otherwise it will tend to curl at the ends..

make sure ur ends arent split as well, (may be the case if u havent been using any heat protectant creams)..split ends will curl, will frizz, wont straighten, and will look sh*te..so get em cut if so

hard to prevent. humidity in the air is the big killer here. I have the same problem. Once you straighten your hair and it's good, then once the moisture in the air touches it, bye bye straight hair. Not sure if there is any special creams/pomades or whatever to stop it, but i know i personally havent found any

ok well i straighten my hair EVERY DAY so i know alot about this...

if you put wax in your hair after you straighten it then it will eventually curl becuz the wax moves with your hair...hairspray is also moisture so that makes your hair curl too...my advice would be not to put wax in it and to just put a tiny spray of hairspray in it if you REALLY need it....

humidity in the air will make your hair flip out like that, even after straightening it.. that's why i gave up straightening.

This may be stupid advice as I really have no clue (3/4 hair myself) but could you curl it under so that during the course of the day, as it did its own thing...a  good bit of the day it would be right?
