has anyone had success with hair weaving/sew-in hair extensions. this method is not talked about much? thanx.

Oh definatly!  I love bonded weaving for a temporary fix and I love sew ins because of how little damaging they are, however I prefer strand by strand because I can wear more styles that way.  But if you wear your hair down most of the time, its wonderful.

I successfully wore a weave for 5 years, and it looked great with no damage to my natural hair.

In my opinion, it's not as comfortable as strand applications, though.  It's bulkier, feels heavier on the head, and it's harder to put the hair up and disguise the wefts.  Also, because I exercise a lot, I would find that the wefts would really hold onto that sweat smell, no matter how much I washed it, so after a while it would get kind of musty smelling.
