Hello,I am new posting to this board.I have been browsing here for the past couple of days. And you guys seem like a great group with good advice...So maybe you can help me out Anyways,My hubby is coming home from 6 months in Iraq. And Im very excited-I want to get my hair and nails done(so I can look extra cute)But I cant decide what to do with my hair.My natural hair color is dark brown.but right now my hair is a medium brown with blonde highlights.I want something more natural looking with highlights that blend in real good.Does anyone have any advice on a good haircolor??? I have light brown eyes and fair skin if that helps.
Thanks

i think the whole blonde highlights on brown hair look gorgeous..why change at all when you already look nice, but if you want a change i suggest you try a different color for the highlights maybe a darker more matchin to your medium brown hair.. or maybe dye the medium brown hair a lighter brown? either way let us know what happends.

You could try dying your hair with a dye that has "built-in highlights." My
favorite brand of dye is Loreal Feria and they have 3x shimmering
highlights. Believe me, it's very easy to see them but it's subtle in natural
looking, like you've spent a few days in the sun! Or you could dye your
hair a matte shade (non-shimmery so not Feria), put lemon juice in a few
strands and then actually lay out in the sun. My brother's girlfriend does
that to get "natural" highlights and they're absolutely gorgeous on her!
Just remember to slather on some sunscreen to protect your fair skin.
You might want to be careful with the Feria! I have heard that the colors can be way too vibrant and your looking for something natural. You might want to try a shade from Nice N' Easy it now has built in natural highlights. Good Luck to you!

If your going to dye your hair, you might want to skip feria. Its incredibly hard to get out.And lemon juice on natural dark hair will only give you reddish highlights.Nice and easy wouldnt be a bad choice. The highlights will more and likely show up lighter where they are already highlighted.Box color rarely lifts color more than a couple of shades. And only if the hair is virgin.Color also doesnt lift color.so if you put another color over your previous color,it will probably just go darker. If you want to go light brown.Use colorfix. You'll be left with a orangey color. Then you could go ahead and use light brown. It will cover the orange.Good luck.
