Hey Ladies, I am thinking about getting a texturizer I have been trying to do research on what to do and I am puzzled. Does anyone know how often a retouch is needed? What products are recommened to keep the hair shiny and bouncy and what texturizer brand contains moisterizing and or conditioning ingredients. My hair does not do well with a regular relaxer but I need something to reduce the shrinkage and to make my hair more managable in which to my understanding a tex does just that. I am a 4a and the fro look is not for me. I want a cute style and it is to my understanding that you can still flat iron or blow dry straight a texturizer am I correct? Also what are some good products to use with this process becuase I read that the correct shampoo and conditioners were vital. TIA
