Hi All!

I have a question about row placement that I haven't found here yet during my searches...  Regarding the rows:  Do I do a row, then bring a section of hair down that has no extentions in it, then do another row?  (similiar to foiling, how the section of hair is brought down between the foils) Does that make sense?

x x x x x  shrinkies

--------  hair not shrinkied in between rows

x x x x x shrinkies

-------- hair not shrinkied in between rows

like that?   ALSO, there is NO hair left unshrinkied within in the rows, right?

x x x x x x x  like that

x - x - x - x - x -  NOT like this?

THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

Depends on whether you want to just add fullness or length or both. To just add fullness/volume or do highlights, skipping a row is fine. Most people prefer to do every exposed hair (away from the hairline, that is) if they are adding length as well. It tends to blend better that way, esp. if your hair is very thick.

I agree. I go for length & volume and shrinkie up every bit of hair
except the crown and I leave an inch out on the bottom everywhere.

Yes each client is diferent. On some if I do every bit then they look funny because the top looks sparse so on them I skip rows. Me myself every bit but what would show!
