Hello-

I just bought some  beautiful new weft hair in color 10  which is totally  too redish and light for me.

I normally wear 18/22 to create more highlights and let my own  med. brown peek through underneath.  But I wanted to  go darker for  winter. I knew I should have ordered the #8!  grrr.

Can I  dye the hair?  It is awesome  quality remy HH and my  18/22 from the same  supplier has lasted me  about a year so far.

So , what do you think? Can I  color? Any  suggestions on what to use? I need a really definite med brown, no red. Any advice on colors?

Here's a picw/ my 18/22. Let me know what you think in terms of color. Maybe I should just leave good enough alone and remain a blonde.  Just  chalk it up to a  loss and see if I can sell the  brown #10 hair.

Underneath is the brown color I am  trying to  match and make my  primary  color. Then just let my own  blonde highlights remain on the top.

so let me know if coloring the wefts is ok, and what  your opinion is on color. I just thought the darker would be  good for  winter.  But I  do like the  blonde.

Thanks- Julie

SORRY TO POST SO MANY  PICS< I JUST WANT YOU TO SEE WHAT THE COLORS LOOK LIKE> I NEED FEEDBACK.

w/ the 18/22 and various degrees of  roots!!!

my natural brown below( My highlights are hiding- I have had the same Keildacolor highlights for 2 years! the 18/22 really  brings the blonde out)

no extensions... you can really see the brown.

Thanks for your input.

I have had great success with coloring my wefts, I have used virgin indian hair and had to bleach it up to about a 10 or lighter then color back down to a 5.  I have had great success with this, I don't see why you wouldn't.  I would suggest going to sally's and finding a color that matches your natural  color then trying a strand test on the weft and seeing if it matches.  If it is HH then it should color just fine.

Good luck.

Yeah, same thing, I've had good success with coloring my hair. I've heard
bleaching it kills it, but I've only darkened it. I just use the regular boxed
stuff, level 2, level 3, feria, garnier, everything. So far, so good! Goodluck!

Just out of curiosity, how do you ladies wear your wefts?  With glue, clips, tape?  And how do you position them?

I have worn mine with LG and just now tried Pro-tack tape.  I am loving the tape right now, but I have yet to do a wash and condition, I will today.  I am going to post pics later today.  I use 4 rows in back and 3 rows on the sides.
