Hey all,
After some advice!!!..I am off to Ibiza to work for the summer YAY!!I am thinking about going for 3mnths and i want to have gorgeous sexy hair What method of extensions would you guys think would be best???..bearing in mind that i will be away from home for 3mnths will be in the pool, sun, sea, sand etc etc???.... Last summer i had fusion extensions when I went on holiday and I had a disaster with bonds melting, going soggy with water etc!.. Thats the other thing if you have extensions on holiday and go in the pool or sea and get wet hair the majority of the time it isnt convenient to go back to your apartment to ensure you dry of the bonds!!..i think this is why i had so much trouble last summer as my bonds were soggy all day and dried in causing such a mess!!..Is the only way to avoid this mess when on hols to simply avoid the pool???? Advice much needed!! Thanks all
Thanks hun, sorry to be a dumbass but what method it extendmagic? So you think thats my best best for 3 mnths in the sun? Would this method be ok with not drying off the bonds after i've been in the pool...or are there no bonds involved ? Sorry im not very clued up.
WOW!! Thanks Amanada i just checked it out!!! That method sounds perfect!!! Are the machines widely used by extensionists or do you think i would have a problems finding an extensionist with the equipment for this method?? How amazing that they last 12-16 weeks!! Why do people use other methods if this is so great?? What are the negatives?? Sorry for all the questions
Just had chance to answer Ick, the extendmagic machine is pretty new so you'll have to make enquiries, maybe contact darren at www.fastbeauty.co.uk and see if he has sold any to any extensionists in your area. Make sure if you find an extensionist that they pre-bond the hair and then install it with the machine as just putting it straight in with the machine is no good. That is the negative. I wore this method prebonded for 10 weeks and I know for a fact I could have gone 16 weeks. I also to test it fully used conditioner as normal. I got it all over the bonds and they were unaffected x
I also have the same vacation situation, but will be doing a DIY install with the silicone lined microlinks. Do you think those are suitable? I would use the shrink links/shrinkies but for my first install, I figured the nonheat method would be best.
Yeah, I personally love the microrings. I think they would be good for
vacation (I've worn them on trips before, but not swimming and being at
the beach and stuff, but for being outside and skiing all the time, they
held up great!)
I would just recommend if you are going for a long time and you are a
DIY, to bring a few extras with you. I brought a few extra rings, my
pulling tool, and clamp thing. I had lots of slippage at times, so this
helped me replace some.
