Help - how do I get rid of the glue?

I've just done my second diy install. My first was with the pro-tac strips using hiar I got from ebay. This worked really well and was easy to remove. I used all my strips for the first instal so decided to try bonding some wefts in. I used hair cbonding glue from Sally's and also bought their remover (which I guess is just a mix of oils).

The install went well and I was pleased with how it looked. Decided to take it outr after a week though since the hair was pretty poor quality and it was tangling like crazy. I used the remover and spent ages carefully taking the wefts out. They came out really easily and without pulling any of my own hair. The problem I have is that I;m now left with loads of glue gunk residue in my hair. I've used almost the whol;e bottle of remover, washed and conditioned my hair several times but I just can't get rid of it. It feels so yucky!

Fortnuately, I invested in a coulple of cute wigs a few months back so I was able to stick one of them on to go into work. Any tips as to how to get this glue out of my hair? I have terrible visions of my OH running his hand through my hair and it getting stuck

I've only had this happen with shrinkies, but I figure it's similar. Try
putting a heavy oil in your hair (I used coconut because I had it on hand,
but you could probably use olive oil or something of the sort) and try to
leave it in as long as you possibly can stand. I think I left mine on for
about 2 hours, then just comb through it using a comb like described
above. It helped remove most of it. Also, there's the acetone route, I don't
know much about it though. Goodluck, I know having that glue stuck in
your hair really sucks.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm now armed with Sally's bond removing shampoo, lots of remover oil, a nit comb and a ton of conditioner. I will have squeaky clean hair before the day is out

I've definately learned my lesson. No more bonded wefts for me!
