I started a thread about this topic in the Short hair forum awhile back. It
is still on the first page of the forum if you want to check it out.
I've been wearing a wig for about four months to grow out my ultrashort
pixie cut. The best thing you can do to be happy with the wig you've
purchased is to go to a good wig store and try them on. Figure out which
one you want as well as what color. Then go online and search out the
best price for that model. I bought my first one from the wig store and
spent almost $400 for it. The second one I bought sight unseen, and
although I knew which color to get, the style, when it arrived, was
horrible. The pictures of wigs you see online are always cut and styled
heavily. I ended up spending a ton of money getting that one restyled
until it was barely wearable. Know that you'll be charged a LOT of money
return any wig you buy online. For wig #3, I went to the store and found
the one l liked, then bought it online for about $175 less than it was
selling in the wig store. Also know that all wigs after you've bought them
will need cutting and styling by a professional to look their best.
I've loved wearing mine, and will probably always keep a good wig around
for those bad hair days, even when my own hair has grown out
acceptably.

Or almost, it`s a lacefront ......but its a girly ,curly style! so i was thinking of using a mild permsolution/relaxer to try to loosen the curles and hope to end up with a loose wave.(do you think it will work?)
