QuoteReplyTopic: Do you guys like Virgin Indian hair? Posted: January 09 2006 at 5:33pm
I see more posted about Virgin Indian hair than anything. What is the pro's and con's on it? Why would you or would you not purchase it? Where do you get it from?
alot like it and great lengths use it but personally its a bit to puffy for me, i prefer a smoother, sleeker hair but everones different. My own hair is also very fine and with indian hair once washed my hair is nice and sleek and the indian hair is massive and need iron finnished. It depends on your own hair.

I have straight fine hair, too. The virgin indian hair does have a lot of body, which is nice since I only needed 4oz of it. It is soft and has a nice curl - sort of like the hair I always wanted. I colored my hair darker to match the hair rather than coloring the virgin hair. I use frizz-ease and curl the indian hair along with mine with steam rollers. It makes a nice, smooth curl that lasts all day and blends perfectly with my fine hair.
It is imported from India in bulk / wholesale. Amm has 2 great lines of Indian hair which have been carefully coloured in her shop, both have had great reviews.... www.shrinkies.net

The hair on my head is Amm's from shrinkies.net. The virgin hair has not been processed. I would imagine you could color the hair just like you would color the hair on your own head.
Amm sells the virgin hair is 4oz wefts. From what I've read on the board, a lot of people recommend 6 - 8 ounces for a weft install, but with this hair, I think that would be more than necessary.

I prefer Indian virgin hair to any other hair extentions brand. It never tangles, matts, and looks so natural on you head that no one ever suspects your wearing extentions. It does have a lot of body which is a pro to me. Another pro is that is comes in diff textures: straight, wavy and curly. It is def. money well invested, because it lasts a long time. So you do not have to keep buyingpacks of hair everytime you get your hair done. You just reuse it over and over again.
