Hi Ashley, I ask my doctor what I could do to make my hair grow fast and he said: excercise (which increases circulation and stimulates hair growth), a quality multivitamin w/ biotin (he suggested GNC megawoman, prenatal pills will work too but they can give tummy upset), Don't break or tug at your hair (treat is like fine lace). Eat a balanced diet.

My own personal advice is to give yourself a nice scalp massage when you can to get the blood moving on your scalp. I would remove the extensions from the area right away or it could worsen or spread. Maybe you could use a lighter syn hair or something? Maybe you could wear it in a ponytail for a bit to give your head a rest?

I know Kristen is out of Huntington Beach which is near you and she's as pro as pro gets from the looks of her portfolio and knowledge on here. Maybe you could go see her?

Just some thoughts.

Good luck hun. Sorry that's happening :(

It may or may not be caused by the extensions, however the extensions arnt helping your problem at all.

I know you dont want to take them out but I would.  It's like someone whos 500lbs telling the doc "I wanna loose weight but I wanna eat whatever I want", you know?  It's kinda one or the other...

Take em out, let your scalp heal and your hair regrow, before you get permanent damage.

Hi mod3ltype, if you'd like to stop in I can take a look at it for you for free and give you some advice. I'm in Huntington Beach so it's only about a 15min drive. No need to become my client or anything, my advice is free to anyone

Everything tjoh99 said about the massage, vitamins etc is exactly what I would have told you to help make your hair stronger. I still may be able to give you some further advice if I saw it in person. I can usually tell if there's a installation/brushing/washing/styling problem too.

I love your analogy Kalika... so true.....
