    Posted: January 14 2006 at 12:00pm
Hi Everyone! I received my Plastikhaar colour rings today, they are so pretty!
I've been sitting on the couch playing with them since they arrived! haha
Anyway, I think my next install is going to be plastikhaar, has anyone used
the pre-tips from there? I'm sure I saw threads about it before... but now I
can't find them!
My questions are:
How many pre-tips did you use for a full head?
Were the pre-tips ready to use, or did you have to make them smaller? or
bigger?
Did you find they held up well without shedding etc?

i did not use some PH pretips, but my human hair comes from the same
factory / same pretips and i just instaled 2 heads with them. they are
glue-tippet so they hold very well!

for the size, i think sara sells all 3 sizes of predipps, just cut the end of
when you install them with microrings (they are a bit too long)

how many you need, iam not sure, but i think they are 2,5gr. per strand
so you will need about 120-150 pretips!?

your human hair comes from the same factory?? Sarah doesnt sell HH does she?

Isnt 2.5 grams rather big for pretipps? At least bigger than the average pretip...

no sara doesent sell HH, but the hair is from the same factory.
i will sell the hair when i open my onlineshop (february)

i think 2,5grams of synth hair is ok. i saw some examples from her, and i
think they are ok in the size. my hh pretips are 1,6 gramm, thats also
biger than the "normal" size, but they are great to work with, and you are
faster too.

I saw your install in your other thread. It looks really good! :)
I will e mail Sara and ask her the specifics. I don't know how many grams I
make my pre-tips when I do them... but 2.5 sounds a little bigger than I
would usually use.
Maybe I'll order just a few to see what they are like first...
