Another thread got me thinking about a product I found last summer that
is fantastic for diminishing the pinkness in your skin. It is Smashbox
Photo Finish - Color Correcting, the weird green one that is the color of
guacamole. You blend two squirts of the product onto your face after
moisturizer and before any makeup. It goes on suble, but does an
amazing job with just a tiny bit of foundation over it of hiding pinkness.
It also smooths out pores and fine lines. Other than a little powder on my
shiny nose, I don't have to retouch anything all day.

Since we're on the topic, I have a beauty secret too!

I keep a plastic bottle full of baking soda and another full of cetaphil in the shower. Instead of using soap on my face, I mix the two together in my palm, mix together with my finger and scrubby the face with it. Works AWESOME and is the only thing that won't break me out. It's cheap too!

I think I'll be making a trek to Nordstroms for the Smashbox photo finish (I got a gift card for Xmas from my mom).Big smile

I really really want to go back to red hair - which looks terrible with pink skin.  If that stuff works, I'm gonna be a redhead!!!!!!

*I'm kinda doing the happy dance right now*

Thanks!

Kristie, you are an angel .

Is there anywhere you can buy this product online, and what is the cost of it?

I looove these beautytips. Kep em´ coming .

My only beautytip is the products from Ole Henriksen. Its a killer for the wallet, but WOW this little man got it figuret OUT.
I´ve been using the "Pore Refining Mask" once a week for about a month, and WHAT a difference - WOW.
So  for Ole (AND he´s danish ).

Synne

You can go to www.sephora.com and get it there. I just looked at the price and that particular one is out of stock. You can also go to www.smasbox.com

I love Sephora though I use so many differnt brands it's just easier. Plus there isn't a whole lot of choice in stores out here. nother reason why I miss Seattle

Cetaphil is an excellent moisturizing lotion that my dermatologist highly recommends...very good and not expensive either!

Hey Synne i don't know if this would be easier or harder for you to get
hold
of in Denmark, but I use an english product made by Boots No.7 that is
the
same thing by the sound of it. This is a link:

http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/
product_details_brand_treatment.jsp?
productid=1057248&classificationid=1031591

I love this stuff, I've been using it for years. I get my mum to send it here
because it's one of my essentials :)

Edit to say, ok that link doesn't work. So go to boots.com click where it
says No.7 confident beauty, then click on 'face' to the left and then click
on 'bases' to the right and it is the green tube. It is called No.7 colour
calming make up base

EDIT: I have tryed to get a hold of a similar product here in denmark, but none of the beautystores in denmark have it anymore.
Weird...

Boots don´t ship outside UK .

So if anyone was picking up a Smashbox creme, I would be really really glad if you would send one to me.
