Heres my recent pics... got my cut last Wednesday.. I think I reached my pinnacle.  And I grew my stuff out for like 3-4 weeks.  HOTT!

da*n shorty yo thang tight i bet you pimpin. whats yo meth. and how do you brush yo hair on the sides i need my thangs on the sides too. its just laid flat down. i say people cant really know you got waves unless you got them on the sides it make them stand out. anyways whats yo meth.

On the sides I do like everyone else here does, I brush at an angle, but the back at my crown I brush at an angle as well.  Thats why my swirl is where it is at.  Like the back of my head I come down and to the left.  And at the crown I take it in a turn when brushing.  For a minute I was gonna change up and get the sideways waves (Malcolm X waves).  I still think that my stuff looks too wooly.  *shrugz*

Back in the day, we used to call waves that went sideways "Malcolm X waves", or waves that went backwards.  Because back in the day before Bro. Malcolm found the Nation he used to where a conk.  Frying his hair to make it lay down and look white.  It would also wave up from this chemical treatment, sorta like a finger wave.

We had what you called Billy Dee Williams waves too.  The thick natural joints that go backwards as well.  Thats just a little old school terminology from an old school cat. Just like the saying "waves for the babes, and curls for the girls".  lol

My brushing method I explained above.  Products are carrot creme, and Lets Jam.... mostly brushing here and there.  Not as high maintenance on it because of my job and work enviorment.
