Well how`s the texture of it? if it feels dry and looks corse and brittle you have bad hair. Does it knoth upp easily? umh does it snap off when you finger-combe it when wet?
I also heard that a biiiig sign of bad hair is when it does not hold up f.eks the curl from a curling iron.

It's easy to tell if you have bad hair once it's on your head because it will feel dry and tangle easily.
It's so hard to tell right out of the bag if it will be a good or bad batch though. I just try to buy from sellers from whom I have ordered from before and know their quality. Although, bad hair does happen to good people sometimes....
I don't know for sure, but I think I got a bad batch of hair from GL. My hair was coarse and dry from the get go, it was frizzy, and even when wet, it was frizzy. It didn't tangle--it knotted. It was awful. I had that hair removed yesterday (after only 2.5 wks) and got new hair put in. I guess time will tell if this hair is "good" or "bad." Trust me, though, you will know if your hair is bad.....just like I said above, it's just so obvious.
