Although I think she looks good in the pics you provided, it is only because her hair is up so we can see her beautiful face. There are pictures of her with her hair down (that I will go and try and find) where it makes her head look small because it swamps it.
This picture is a wig. Anyone's hair can look like that when they wear that
wig. Sienna has a beautiful face and has looked beautiful with long and short
hair. I've seen some long haired pictures where her has looked blah though.
I've yet to see a bad hair day with short hair.

She always looks nice in my opinion, but specially when she lets her freckles show& her hair looks natural.
And, I...I've got nothing to offer you, no no, just this heart deep and true, which you say you don't need...Know in your soul, please...For haven't you me, with you now? And I love you, I love you...

Blech! This look just scream 1970s California middle-aged house wife.
You mean, like Carol Brady?

From dictionary.com...
sophistication:
To cause to become less natural, especially to make less naive and more worldly.
To make impure; adulterate.
To make more complex or inclusive; refine.
Impure or adulterated? Good or bad? Everyone can judge for
themselves. IMO everything about her apperanace in the original
pic seems overdone. Lots of "feminine" stuff to balance the
defeminizing aspect of the short haircut. Again, my opinion.

I think she would actually look cute with a chin length bob with fringe. It
wouldn't hide her face, but it would look for feminine and less "old" as
people are saying

You just made me realize something. A lot of times when women cut their hair, they do wear more make-up and jewelry, and yet it's usually the haircut that gets the positive attention. It would be interesting to compare someone with no jewlery or make-up wearing both shorter and longer hair to see which hair we like without all the other distractions. When I was considering caving into pressure to cut my hair short, I started looking through hairstyle magazines to look for a style that I might like, and one thing that was said over and over is that when you cut your hair short, you should experiment more with make-up and jewelry, and I often wondered why. It seems pretty obvious, but I never made the connection before I read what you wrote, Dave. Thx!
