I was looking at the list of exhibitors, for extensions I only saw hairpiece.com and Cinderella hair listed. Do you know if other companies are attending?
Is there a similar show that does allow non-licensed people to attend? What about Cosmoprof in Las Vegas. Do they allow unlicensed and do they have hair extensions?
I don't think that either IBS or Cosmoprof lets unlicensed people attend. I know for sure that Cosmoprof doesn't because I did have to fax them a copy of my license when I was trying to buy a ticket.
I don't think I'm going to do to IBS, but I'm considering Cosmoprof.
Out of all these shows which one do you say is the best, from past
shows that you have attended ? I was going Premier Orlando in August. I
really enjoyed going in 05, meeting different vendors and finding out
extension information and you could purchase it right there and see
demos for free too.

When i went to the Midwest Beauty Show here in Chicago they had sooo many vendors for hair extensions but i did my homework before i went on prices of hair from the different companies and it was amazing how they raised their prices at the show. I told many of them i could get it cheaper on the internet and most of them just shrugged their shoulders. So do some planning of the hair or equipment before you buy. Some gave out free dvd's but they all seem to put in the fusion the same way Nothing was that eye opening or new that could catch or hold my attention.
I went to IBS when they had a big show in Dallas about 5 years ago. They were strict at the door to get in. I was able to get in with my press badge. I was surprised that the show did not come back. It had a lot of attendees and there were some great classes. I went to Cosmoprof a few years ago in Las Vegas. It was hot as hell (why do they have it in the Summer months is beyond me) but I thought it was a much better show because there is so much more to see.
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)
So far my experience is nyc is the biggest. they all check for liscenses and so they should, why should someone not liscensed be allowed to go to a professional show???
the only way they let u in a show non liscensed is if u are a salon owner and can show proof.

I checked both website IBS and Premier Orlando and actually IBS is
going to be at the Orlando Show in August and I think I'll go to that
one since I'm here in Miami and I'll be 8 months pregnant in May.
