Will hair grow back?

After a bad bleach and dye job - got only myself to blame - I have melted my hair right to the root. My questions are - will it grow back and will it continue to bald?  Going to have it choped off in a couple of days but right now I am kind of freaked out...

Well fortunately for you the good news is the hair will grow back, the bad news is it only grows about 1/2" per month. Color and bleach and damaging to the hair and it's best left up to professionals like myself. I feel bad for you....best of luck in dealing with the aftermath.

Thanks for answering my questions - it was a COLOSSAL relief to find out that I hadn’t done any permanent damage – my ego on the other hand has suffered a major kick in the teeth.

 

Let this be a lesson to anyone out there who wants to bleach at home – LEAVE IT TO THE PROFESSIONALS – it’s not worth the fall out (excuse my pun)! 

 

I did see my beloved stylist (whom I should have just gone to in the first place) and after the snickers and giggles she also confirmed that my hair should grow in – it’s a good thing I wear my hair ultra short and have the personality to pull off pink hair for a while (yeah – my dye job also went that bad)!

 

Idle hands man, idle hands!

 Hey I twice had Pink hair,...Back in May of 2003 I was sooo Depressed, I chop all my hair to a stubble, I thought it was a good idea,..but my ego dropped, and I was soooo humbled by that experience. I was crazy then, but sane and Happy now, and I thank many, including God.
