hey.
i'm an 18/f and i'm just lookin' for a little hair advice. i have recently cut my hair from below shoulder length to just barely touching my shoulders (roughly 6.5 inches i cut off). it's medium brown with some blond highlights and some flicky layers. now i'm looking to experiment more. i've been looking at the sort of side swept long bang type deal and i was just wondering what kind of work that entails... how would i have to part my hair etc? any pros? cons? you name it. i'm just starting to enter the girly world after 17 years of tom-boyish looks so i really need all the help i can get!!
thanks!

I wish I could help with the slanted bangs. However I think a hair magazine, or go to a stylist and ask how they would do your bangs,...but then leave and do it yourself, if you need to save the money.
I hope I helped,..Take care,..
God Bless,...

I personally love side bangs. They are just so cute and can really make a difference to the style of your hair. There are some cons however. Depending on what length or style you get them cut they can be really hard to manage especially if you don't have too much time to do your hair in the morning. They can require lots of blow-drying, hairspraying, straightening, etc. I do think it's worth the work because I really love how they look. I good length I find is starting at the eye and then angling right down to about mid-nose. Works pretty well for me. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.

I agree with BlackLace..I have sideswept bangs..and it took me a while
before I actually got 'girly' with them as you say (little
advice...never try to part them evenly on both sides )
It does require a little more work, if your bangs don't look right for
a day, you don't look right, but I defiently suggest getting them. They
give you a completely differnet look and usually compliment your face.
I myself have bagns that start from my eyes..and slant downward until
they reach the rest of my hair
