hi i have the silk elements megasilk conditioning mayo it says it contains silk protein is that the same protein that everyone says you should only use once a month? i wanted to co wash with this but i already have a apgogee treatment

I actually have this product (well the revive and restore line) and I have used it in the past.  I think it depends on the individual.  For my experience, it isn't as hard core as keratin or human hair.  It pretty low on the spectrum in terms of proteins.  I think it would be okay to use every two weeks or so.
