Well I'm at a loss, I've been using bohyme tipped by myself with x10 sticks for over a year and a half now with shrinkies with perfect nearly 100% results.

For some reason all my April clients are shedding.  I have not done anything different.  Me and the hubby are at a loss, any suggestions?  Obviously I don't mind thickening people's hair up in between installs for free but if my clients are shedding as much as with fusion installs I'm not going to be offering anything different to salons x

Sorry to hear about the shedding. I heard his and her glue sticks are good. I've used their pre-tipped hair and no shedding at all but the hair isn't good. I also hear using nail glue at the tip helps a lot.

Perhaps x-10 changed their formula or had a defective batch?

There must be some adverse hair planets or something -there seem to be a LOT of shedding/fall out problems lately!

We must have accidentally offended the hair gods in some way.

I had the same thing happen .I got a bad bag of sticks Thank God it was only one client and Because it was a black tip I new what it was. The mega I bought. I have used mega and monkey barrz and all sorts of keritn. It may have just been old or moisture got to the stick (that's why they should be kept in there pouch with that little packet they come with. When I did more fusion it happened more often. So replace the clients hair, throw out the sticks and buy a fresh batch else where for now.

Sorry

Just an update on this subject.  I've recalled a few clients to check their hair and have a look to see if I can see what's exactly happening.  Its even more bizzare.  The shrinkies are still rock solid and so is the glue in them.  How the heck has shedding occurred then, its like its just come away from the middle of the bonds or something.  How can this have happened if the bonds are still rock hard.  It must be a big bad batch of x10 sticks if its them as I go through 2 packs a week and this is a full four weeks worth of clients xx

Oh my GOD!

Amanda, this is far too weird. Although I use different products, my April has been a nightmare with calls from shedding clients! One of them called me yesterday and said her bonds were solid and she couldn't understand. I had the same conversation with her about weirdly, losing hair from the centre! I've NEVER had this problem before.

What's going on? It is the hair Gods indeed!

My mom reckons it's a twisted extensionist sabotaging everyones products (think Nestle, 1970's).

Could there be a common denominator???

Lol that's hilarious chick, well I'm tipping with the EM machine till the problem is rectified, I can't be doing with stressed out clients, I would like it if my hair shed either bless em.  I know the EM doesn't shed x
