does anyone have a better technique or tool for applying Liquid Gold?

i've started a routine of putting a dab of Liquid Gold on each end of my strips of Protac once a week, but that brush that comes with the LG just makes me all fumble fingers......i have a long handled/short bristled eyeshadow brush that seems to work better, but i still end up with a bit of LG where i dont want it to be

since you are only using a dab of it on the ends of the tapes Im not sure if there is a better way. But if you are using very much, or are doing an install with it some of the gals came up with the idea of using a syringe and seemed to have alot of success with that.

when i spread it on my wefts to layer them together before putting them on the Protac, i have no trouble using it for that.....but to stick it in my hair with that long brush !!!! i get gobs on hairs that dont need it....in fact, i wonder if my gloved finger would be better controlled?      oh gosh i should just quit complaining and be thankful that Protac is working for me, thank heavens for no more multi-hour installs (just multi hour shampoo/styling/staring at my hair in the mirror)
