Cream & Black dress with white shoes?

My dress has black patterns on the top but the rest is cream colored - ivory - off white. Would it look weird if I wore white shoes with it? Thanks.

I wouldn't. . . but I'm told I'm weird about that kind of thing, since I wouldn't wear a white bra under this dress I have (which is a blue and brown retro pattern on a cream background) because the straps showed a little and I thought it looked tacky ^_^; .

Stay with the same color pattern, if this dress is a dark color stay with the same color shoe because if you don't then you might look crazy.

Well, if the dress is black and cream, I guess it would follow that black or cream shoes would look best.  Although I did see some great shoes once that were black with cream stitching. . . I almost got those to wear with the pinstriped skirt I have on today. . . but now I'm just babbling -_-;;; .

Like others say, I would would wear black or cream.  If your dress is mostly cream, then black shoes would stand out more and the cream would flow more in my opinion.
