Does anyone know if the velcro rollers with metal inside the roller is better than the traditional velcro rollers?

Both my wife and I use the velcro with metal inside and we really like them.  If you set when your hair is damp then sit under a heated dryer, the metal part curls your hair better because it gets hotter than just regulay velcroe.
