Hello
I was very disappointed to learn that Nature's Gate discontinued the Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner line. This was the only product that was working for me and my hair issues. I have hair that has a funky wave and is on the frizzy side but it weighs down in the root area. The biotin line allowed me to get a comb through my hair, made my hair look and feel soft and shiny and didn't weigh it down. I'm hoping to find someone with advise that has used the biotin line and has a comparable suggestion. I will take advise from anyone else also because I am very frustrated and running out of options. Thank you in advance for everyone's help.
Everyone's hair is different so it may be difficult for someone to
suggest a product for you. Since you are looking for things that
don't weigh your hair down, you are probably best sticking with
products that call themselves natural and don't have silicones in the
ingredients (anything in the ingredients that ends in 'cone will tend
to build up and weigh down wavy/ curly hair types). Its best to
search for products online with the word "ingredients" so you can read
whats in them before you buy. (For example, Jason is a natural
line and works well for me personally, but it is full of cones so I
wouldn't suggest it for you). The lightest shampoo/conditioner
I've ever tried is Avalon (a natural line, about 7 bucks a bottle), but
you may find the conditioner does little for detangling purposes.
I usually follow it with something heavier. This is all I can think of
to suggest. Hope some of this was helpful.
