Ok, I need some serious help here!!! I just installed some MASSIVELY curly hair on tues.

It's so thick and unruly right now, I don't know what the heck to do with it!!!!

Anyone have naturally curly hair or worked with curly extensions before? If I comb it it becomes a huge frizz ball, bit if I don't comb it it feels all tangly and weird...

Any pointers at all would help, I'm completely clueless right now!!

Hi naked, I have Wagman hair extensions. I use Fructis curl spray and noodle head which can be found at sally's beauty supply. They work wonders on the hair.

Thank you!! I have the curl spray, so I will dig it out and use that, and head out to sally's once it stops snowing! I'm so excited, this is such a mess!!

I have some pics, but when I installed, I had straightened my hair super straight in the morning, so it looked funny! The blending was horrible because of that, so I am embarassed to post them!!

So I'm trying to get it cute curly, and not wild curly!!

So give me a little bit of time to figure out how to work with this hair!!

But I got the hair from hairandextensions.com, it's the bulk california curl.

So in the meanwhile, when do people with curly hair comb it? Before they shower? Then just finger comb thought it the rest of the time?

I'm so confused!!

Current install-Bohyme Bodywave #30 and #14 in the straight hair/ they didn't have the #14 in bodywave, so I mixed them...works great!

OH MY!!!! I installed Deep Wave on my hair also (is more curly than wavy)Confused!!! But I LOVE IT. I loged in to post get some ideas on managing the hair, and then I found the post!!! LOL
I am using Wet & Wavy Gel, and some silk drops, let the hair BEAUTIFUL.
The funny part is that I installed curly since my natural hair is curly, and I alwasy relax it, and wanted to give it a break and opt for a LOW

Maintenance hair. SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUre!!!

 
 
Oh i forgot! Use a creamy conditioner and detangle the hair in the shower. Doing it Dry will frizz the hair. The "comb it" with your fingers.

Asinn- YES! SNOW!!! Can you believe it?? I am up in chicago, it's lake effect snow It was so windy and cold!! I can't believe this early in the year, on Sunday, we were swimming in the lake, and by thursday it is snowing!! Gotta love Chicago.....

Aphro- Deep wave is prob close to mine, I will try some of that, yeah, I was thinking what you were, "oh great, I wont have to flat iron my top layer everyday to match the extensions, it will be so EASY!" RIIGHHHTTT.... Even though I love curls, I see why people with naturally curly hair hate it now!!

So yeah, I figured out (might I add the hard way) that I can't comb it dry! lol, I looked like I stuck my finger in a light socket! So I put on conditioner, let it sit, then put on more and took a wide toothed comb through it in the shower. That's the way to do it!! Slowly but surely I am figuring it out!

I am (attempting) to straighten it today!! YAY! I can't wait to see how it will look!!

NakedEye..FORGET ABOUT WET & WAVY GEL!!!!! I just tried Noodle Head Gel from Beyond the Zone and it really curled and gave amazing texture and shine to all the hair!!!!!! Even the hair on the TOP (I used to relax ) was in a deep wave pattern. I posted pics in the forum (a message about my new install). This is way  much better than Wet & Wavy, and it will revive ALL the curls. I am so amazed!!!!!!!!!!!
 
This is the best so far!!! Try It let me know.

Naked Eye_ I Got it from Sally's. Get the Gel, not the Spray. The Gel gives more definition , control, and shine.
Keep me updated!
BTW, do you remember what type of wave is your hair? I hope this gel help, cause it really helped me a lot.
 
Remeber:
* Wash it wit a creamy shampoo (Pantene for Curls)
* A creamy Conditioner (Pantene for Curl or the Anti-Sponge, my fave.)
* Detangle it with the conditioner on (doing it while Dry will Friz it, and make it look like a cotton ball)
* Towel Dry and apply the Noodle Head Gel and comb with your fingers) Use your finger to define the Curl on your natural hair (the hair that is not blending) and try curl it around a little piece/strand of the extension curl. When it dry it will look like is all a long trand of curly hair.
Let air Dry, Then Play with the curls!
