Hi all.  I've been researching and reading up on numerous posts, but was wondering what the best brand is for clip-in extensions (and for dark hair - mainly black)?  Most posts that I've read recommend to make them yourself.  Unfortunately, I don't think I have the talent and time to sew them together myself, although I don't mind trying. It seems a lil difficult though.
Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks!

If it's for every day, I would recomend making them since you can custom fit them. A package sells the basics, one size fits all. Also, if you custom make them you can double up the wefts.

With that said, if it's just for special occasions and not every day then I would buy the package. The reason I say this is because the package does look good but won't be as comfortable since you have to wear four or five rows.

Malibu, thanks for your response. Smile  Which brand would you recommend for "quick fix extensions" or for just special occasions?  I don't plan on wearing these on a daily basis.  I have black (but not dark black) hair which is not fine, but not so coarse either.

Edited to say - Wow!  I just saw your post in regards to your clip-in extensions.  They look great!  How in the world did you make them??  Your pics are very inspiring.  Makes me want to try and make them myself also!

Thanks for the recommendation.  I'll def. check them out.  How much did you purchase it for and do the clips hold up well?  What is the texture of your hair?  Is it human hair?  And would I be able to flat iron these?  Do you possibly have pics?  Sorry for all the questions!  I'm really itching to buy some, and just want to make sure I will be happy with the product in the end.  Thanks again :)

I will second that about Wicked_Wares on Ebay. Great hair for the money. I got the wavy ones, and I think the 10 piece set was about $80. I figured I could have made some myself, but why...plus I hate sewing!

Thanks so much! It's really not difficult to make them but if you want to buy them then I would go with a recomended one. I bought (for my wedding) the Jon Renau. It was great for that one night but definetly not every day. I'm not sure how long that hair would hold up either. And yes, you can flat iron them and curl them.

No prob. :)  Quick question.  How come you purchased clip in extensions for your wedding, rather than using the ones you made, or making them yourself?
