hey everyone I am a guy and I have had short hair all my life...now I am getting bored of it...I really want to grow my hair out(about collar length) but when I tried my thick bushy hair would not cooperate...my hair looked like a giant bush...my question is, is there a hair cut that can reduce the thickness of my hair?

Probably not so much during the growing out phase.  Once it gets long, you can have the last few inches layered so they taper down thinner, but until it gets heavy enough, its probably going to stick out for awhile.  Don't let that stop you though if longer is what you want, wear it wild and crazy and try to enjoy it!

With thick wavy hair, your hair will look great when it is long!!! During the growing out phase, maybe you can try wearing a bandana, buff, etc. I'd love to see a photo of your hair!

Thanks for your advise and suggestions...My hair is pretty short right now...give it a month before it get long...I will keep you posted.
