QuoteReplyTopic: hair method suggestion Posted: November 22 2006 at 11:21am
Ive been looking to get extensions for a little while now but what method is the least damaging? i want to get ones that can help me grow my hair isntead of damage it when i remove them. any suggestions?
I have heard of the fasttrak method...a long time ago. If I remeber correctly its a tape/weft method that is sandwiched into the hair...similar to what the protac/weft method is.
There are pros and cons to ALL methods of installs.. The bottomline for
any method is that if the extensions are installed incorrectly and
maintained improperly, damage to your own hair will ocurr.. (caveat:
there are a few install implements that are generally accepted as being
across the board damaging, polywax and black latex glue for example)
One size does not fit all when it comes to extensions.. The BEST method
depends on the style you want to achieve, how much you're willing to
pay, and how much time are you willing to put into maintaining your
hair and extensions afterwards..
There's LOTS of information on this forum.. My suggestion is to do your
homework on all the various methods out there, and get to know the
search feature..
