Hi Maui:

I have used the thermo on and off for about two months.  It has pros and cons in my opinion.
Pros:  Holds curl great if you figure out how to get it to curl
          Stays shiny
          Dries ultra quickly
          doesn't look fake
          cheap
Wonderful micro wefts that have enough size to really hang on but
          are nondetectable
          no beard
Cons: Can get frizzy or tangled ends with average  wear although
           some will deny this
Kind of has a peculiar way of separating like you need to
run a brush through it to neaten it up a bit
Not a very large selection of blonde colors

Just my opinions sorry to offend but these are my thoughts

Pros:
Inexpensive
Hygienic
Can be bone straight or curly (curl while damp and then clip the curl until it cools down all the way)
Shiny
Durable

Cons:
Colors are a bit different than the standard- they run darker IMHO
Separates oddly from time to time, just brush to reset

Oh thanx ! I wrote this question before I reall went thru and read 100 of the 180 or so pages of this forum! Embarrassed Suffice to say that this question has been asked before! LOL Thanks for not ripping my head off like some other forums do! LOL Just another reason why this forum is great! But back to the topic . . . I guess for the price it's go'n for I can just go and try it for my self huh? I was gonna go with F/R from extn.101 for my first DIY instal but with the nerves of just the DIY I rather not add to it by try'n on quality hair that cost me a pretty penny!

and if by any chance amm Wink graces us with her expertise on this thread I was wondering on your site you have SILICON K NEW LIFE and NEUTROGENA  DAILY DEEP CONDITIONER do you use both and just alternate? or use either or?
Also when people say they "steamed" the end to make them like new, what do you use to steam? Maybe this is a way stupid question?

It's a steam hair setter (like caruso) but running the hair through it instead of placing the curlers on it and brushing.  I also find for the plastikhaar dipping the ends in boiling water and brushing immediately removes any frizzies.  You would need to do a test with the elite to see if it works.
