I would guess that her hair is very wavy from what I remember (I haven't seen her in anything for a while), so yes, her hair is that curly...

Robert Hallowell who does Geena Davis' hair and Courteney Cox for Dirt worked with Sherilyn's hair in the past and told me her hair had natural wave or bend.  So yes...it's natural wavy.  Great photo.  Thanks.

Your welcome guys...I would love to have this style for myself,but my hair is not that wavy and I dont think a perm is a good idea. I guess I'm one of those grass is greener people cuz I envy people with thick wavy hair!

Wow, nice to see a pic and discussion about one of the most beautiful but underappreciated actresses of our day!  She really is a stunner, isn't she?  And has been since she first came on the scene in the 80's.
