hi there im hoping someone could help me for the last few months ive been having a problem my hair is really flakey and so is my eyebrows my head gets really itchy as does my eyebrows but i cant tich either as the hairs fall out if i do i have patches missing from my eyeborws and head because of it ive been to see a gp and 3 times theyve gave me shampoos and everytime i use them once ive rinsed my hair as soon as my hair is dry it becomes flakier and drier than ever they are goin to send me to see a dermatologist but i months to wait to see them but the itchyness is killing me, heres some info my head is very flakey and dry but my hair within half a day of being washed is quite oily and greasy feeling my eyebrows are just flakey and itchy and the rest my body has slight dry patches aswell, when i wash my hair with these shampoos ive been prescribed when i go to rinse the shampoo out it feels like hairs are so dry washing the soap out feels like im tugging on my hair because it sticks to my hands as i rinse it plz if anyone has any ideas it would be most appreciated

Definitely do keep that dr. appointment, you may have psoriasis and you will need medication for it.

Sounds like those prescribed shampoos are really drying out your scalp.  That's one thing dandruff shampoos do, they have salicylic acid in them which helps skin slough off, and is supposed to leave you with a young, non flaking layer.  Doesn't seem like that always works though.  Looks to me like you need more moisture in your scalp.

If those shampoos really are making it worse, try using your old regular shampoo, but dilute it 50/50 or more with water (use a small bottle to mix it in, don't do your whole big bottle, just make up what you need for each wash and roll it slowly to mix it, don't shake).  Shampoo is all highly concentrated and overdries your scalp.  Using it more dilute will still give good suds and clean your scalp, but will cause your scalp to stop getting overdry and stop making it overcompensate by producing too much oil.  You still need to go to the doc, in case it is psoriasis, but this is something to try in the meantime.
