hi sh3rylanne, I would suggest making sure you wash your hair prior to install with a clarifying shampoo to remove any build up of products, and dont use any conditioners or products on your hair after washing. Make sure your hair is completley dry before installing your new extensions.
I'll chime in and agree as well. If your hair is particularly oily, then it might be good to wash it with the clairifying more than once even. I've heard good things about Neutrogena's Clarifying and that is what I use also.
After your install, just to keep any moisturizing product away from the bonds. A quick rinse of conditioner if you need it is fine, just make sure not to let it set on the bonds. Some people (myself included for my last take-down) actually use conditioner as a remover. There as also been a recent debate on another forum as to whether or not high water pressure or very hot showers can break down tapes faster. That dosen't seem to be a consistent factor however.
