Coloring hair

I put a black rinse (by Adore) in my hair last night and it did not take that good. My hair turned out like a dark brown color. I think from different angles it looks black but it's not all the way black. My question is, what brand do you recommend I use to get my hair almost jet black. I want a brand that does not contain peroxide, ammonia, bleach etc.....just a rinse. Thanks
