QuoteReplyTopic: re-install time tomorrow for 4 sew-in wefts Posted: July 09 2007 at 9:13am
I had my first install 5 weeks ago with virgin Russian hair and am loved them! Tomorrow is my re-install to move them up and tighten them. It took my extentionist about 1.5 hours to originally install them, how long should I expect to have them taken out and re-installed tomorrow? Also, I washed and deep conditioned my hair Saturday and I wait until the fourth or fifth day to re-wash, do I need to have my re-install with freshly washed hair or does it really even matter? Thanks!!

call you stylist and ask her. Some prefer that you wash and condition before, some don't care and will do it for you. Is you hair braided, will she re-braid for the new install?
You COULD have your girlfriend or someone cut the wefts out (it's just weave thread and it's easily visible so no accidents to worry about), remove the braids, wash and condition and come in fresh and clean. Then it would only take the same 1.5 hours to re-install.
