By kitting, your man, simply, changed his texture. After he did that, he brushed vigorously for three months. Basically, he kitted to straighten out his hair, somewhat, and then developed waves by brushing and wolfin for a few months. Since he obviously trained his hair for waves over the wolfin session, it is believable that he had waves after he got a cut. Feel free to pm me if you have any more questions.

actually i can answer dis question a lil more.....when he kitted it relaxed his hair.....making it easier 4 him 2 maintain his hair over a longer period of tyme......much less den somebdy dat doesnt kit.....

That's not necessarily true. Your hair texture and hair care routines are the dominant factors in how easy you waves/hair hold up over time. Not a kit.
