white boys wit waves i know it can be done

aight im white my hair aint really that curly ive always had skin fades i wanna do sumthin diff w my hair.  my cuz has the same type of hair as mine he had waves his sh*ts was official , madd thick i cant talk ta him ta c how he did it he in boot camp rite now. i need yall ta help me cuz i know it can be done my barber has em too n he white. past 2 weeks i been pomade in in my hair brushin it. i realized i wasnt keepin it moisturized tho. i started usin hot rags more, n i cut down on the pomade some1 told me ta go light wit it. i got sum s curl activator n moisturizer spray the otha day im usin now too. i wear a wave cap as much as possible throughout the day n when im sleepin. 2 weeeks ago when i started brushin i had a temple fade w prolly a 2 1/2 on top its longer now so ima keeep growin it n gettin it tapered. i did notice that on da top from my ahir bein so short for the past 3 years its used to standin up when its sliked down after a while, i notice it startin to bump a lil but it aint really noticeable cuz ma hair still short. yo anyone with help or suggestions get at me. if i grow it out mad long n it aint workin ima just perm it brush it n keep it thick n long. but throw me sum ideas ppls
