dyeing question

Heh its been forever since i last posted here but...just to lazy to check the board lately hehe.

But anyways my current hair color is

4" virgin hair dark ash brown with hint of red (yeh i know it seems weird since ash usually has a tint of green.)

7" of bleached hair+ lightest strawberry blonde

1" worth of dark, red

please note: these lengths are just estimated i don`t actually know each length of color i have in my hair;)

I am planning to be dyeing my hair the very last week of april again...The color is called Wicked Blonde by Miss Clairol MC MAX.

its bases are: irridescent purple, and highlifting blonde.

I plan on using a 40 devoloper with this (heh it would have been 8 months since last time i dyed my hair so it should have "revived" from last time hehe.)

I am curious how would a purple react to a natural red base?

I`m going to do this no matter what but i`m curious how the red and purple usually mix together.

and of course i will post before and after pics when i get it done:) but too bad my before pic will most likely have me with hat hair cuz i will most likely be doing it after i get off work hehe.
