Yuck! aye name some products that have dat sh*t in it.
There are too many products to name. In many instances cetyl alcohol is disguised in products. Cetyl alcohol is often an end-product of the petroleum industry and is used as a thickener, emulsifer, and emollient.
Cetyl alcohol is, also, a surfactant found in many shampoos and conditioners and can be found in many lotions, creams, and various other asundry body, hair, and cosmetic products.

Cash, Cetearyl Alcohol is a mix of mostly cetyl and stearyl alcohols. So that might not be sweat that you're wiping from your face, lol.

History
Cetyl alcohol was discovered in 1817 by the French chemistMichel Chevreul when he heated spermaceti, a waxy substance obtained from sperm whale oil, with caustic potash (potassium hydroxide). Flakes of cetyl alcohol were left behind on cooling.
With the demise of commercial whaling, cetyl alcohol is no longer primarily produced from whale oil, but instead either as an end-product of the petroleum industry, or produced from vegetable oils such as palm oil and coconut oil. Production of cetyl alcohol from palm oil gives rise to one of its alternative names, palmityl alcohol.
Thank you wikipedia for ending the whale sperm scare. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cetyl_alcohol
CASE CLOSED. JOIN DA MOVEMENT, KEEP WHALE SKEET OUT OUR HEADS. (P.S., if somebody found out whale sperm would be the best moisturizer, and it smelled good, why not put it in our hair LOL)
