Does it matter if you use store brand hair spray or salon brand hair spray?

The key is probably what you are trying to accomplish and what your budget is. I have had luck with the cheap store brands like Rave but I also love the ARTec hairspray that Sarah Michelle Geller uses on Buffy the Vampire. In fact, when her mom was in the hospital w/ a brain tumor a photo of the ARTec hairspray was in the background. :-)

Hi,

I agree, the ARTec hairspray is good. However, you can get a great hs at the drugstore. The key is definitely what type of hold you want. Aveda makes some great hairspray...although pricey.

I found a hairspray that seems GREAT so far!

Suave makes it actually. It`s "flexible hold."
It doesn`t really look or feel like I have any in and it was only $1.27 at Wal-mart! Plus it smells nice.
