I wanted to post a special thank you to Sherrie's demo at which helped with our tape install at HB yesterday:

Billy had never done a tape install before and he wanted to know how to do it as easily and painlessly as possible.  Actually no one here at HB had done one before.  Angela, our model, has had lots of different installs but mainly individual preglued strands or rings.  She was anxious to try tape.

Billy printed out the pages from Sherrie's site and followed the steps as shown.  It worked out great and the instructions really helped.  Especially at the beginning as he was finding his way.  Once he got the first track set, he speeded up and things went very fast.

One thing that we learned was to get all the tools laid out in advance on a separate table so they are readily available.  That saved time.  Also,  I am taking full responsibility for not planning better by buying tape from Sherrie or some of the other vendors you all have graciously recommended.  Next time I will have it in advance and we are going to buy several different types of tape to see what we like best.

We did find some really nice quality hair locally at a good price but of course the proof will be in how it holds up over time.  The hair was graded as A hair and all the strands were pretty much the same length.  It was Remy hair that was marked as from China.

It really is true what they say, practice makes perfect.  I think as we continue to test various systems (we are doing the Academy Hair Extension Kit next with the pretipped fusion) we will get much better.

One other thing that everyone says but is so important....sectioning, sectioning, sectioning.  It really makes a huge difference.

Thanks again Sherrie for your tips and for offering to be available to help.

That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

You and the HB crew are very welcome Karen! I am glad that they found the instructions helpful and I am so happy that they had a quick and easy install!

Billy will be an extensions pro in no time! Big%20smile

It is a good demo!! It's nice that there are demos out there free of charge. When I first started they all had a price tag on them.
