I had a question for diva vocals about the Zig Zag hair at extensions plus.  I had mentioned it on another thread and you said it did not come from WP, but I was wondering if you might know where it did come from?

It has been my favorite hair (by far) of all times.  I'd love to know because paying almost 800 bucks for 9oz kinda sucks.

Thank you!
Wearing 22" 8oz Tease I tips installed with silicone microrings.

Girl I love the ZigZag hair too.. It's the hair I'm wearing in my avatar.. Now you KNOW the folks at Extensions Plus are NOT going to give up supplier info..

That said, there have been some very well documented articles naming at least ONE of Extensions Plus suppliers.. (They have several) I'll see if I can find the BHM post with this article.. However I have seen the raw hair when it comes in to Extensions Plus, and I can promise you you do NOT want it direct from their sources.. The hair must cleaned and "de-nitted" before it can be wefted.. It's a nasty job and they have a team of folks who do this work to ensure we have clean nit free GORGEOUS hair..

Longhairaddict, I was just looking at that hair this past weekend. I asked her if they weft it there, she said no, they get it from China already wefted. The weft didn't look like Wagman's weft, it looked exactly like EP's weft.

You may want to check out trueindianhair.com and speak to Karen. She's got similar hair and she's a pleasure to work with. She's sent me samples and responds quickly to email.

Let me clarify my initial post.. I inadvertently left some information out.. LHD, the only hair Wagman Primus supplied Extensions Plus with was the the hair they sold as their Softwear line of hair. Extensions Plus purchases their hair raw & un-processed in bulk. The hair they purchase is either cleaned/processed & wefted here in the Reseda factory (for custom orders) or in their China factory (all of their ready made products are wefted in the China factory).

My understanding based on my conversations with Helene and other senior members of the Extensions Plus staff is that they do not buy hair that is already wefted. I was also informed that none of the suppliers they deal with sell hair to the public (let alone hair that is already wefted) or in small quantities that we as consumers would normally want to buy. Like I said previously, even if you bought this hair from their supplier, you would still have to have the hair cleaned and wefted. It's quite nasty when it comes in..

Yeah, this makes more sense. I was confused when the lady told me it
was bought already wefted from ChinaConfused

Longhairdreams, I'm kind of happy to hear you like the ZZ hair so much. It's texture is really close to mine and I didn't know how the hair was. Now I want some!! It looked like 3oz of 16" was about $185.

Hi Diva,

Thanks for the great info.  The more I talk to hair brokers, the more I hear so many different stories.  It is hard to figure out what is real and what isn't.  Thank you for unraveling some of the mystery of Extensions Plus.

Yeah Helene is a really neat lady, and she has always been nothing but nice and gracious to me when I stop by to visit.. She has also been SUPER willing to answer my many questions so long as they don't cross trade secret boundries.. (Like what the heck is their weft sealant!!!LOLLOL)

Thank you so much DV!  I was spoiled in the early days of my extensions with some hair from wickedhairco and also the zig zag hair.  I am very hard on my hair and that zig zag hair felt the same the day I put it in and the day I removed it 3 1/2 months later.  It holds curl like a dream too!

I have naturally curly, kinda unruly but also thin and smooth hair if that makes any sense.  Probably the closest to a natural curl match that I have found, but nothing really matches mine.

Thanks again, guess I'll just have to break down and buy from them.  Maybe I am nuts, but the WP elite was giving me issues after 2 weeks and was unwearable after 1 month????
