I'm sure not many guys go here. BUT I NEED ADVICE

Yeah...

I'm getting a haircut on Tuesday.  I've had the same haircut my ENTIRE life.  Same hair color and everything. 

Well some friends egged me on.  I am getting a haircut.  They're thinking an emo type?  Shorter though.  I am dyeing my hair black, and I am thinking about getting red or blue highlights.


Here is a picture of me currently.  (Don't laugh!!! )

Bangs are staying about the same.  Side are probably getting chopped off, or shortened a lot, the top is getting thinned out, and the back, well the back is getting shorter, and less bushy.

I'm going to ask the hair dresser about products, but yeah.

Do you think black hair with either red or blue highlights would work out?  Or at least look decent with my face?

Freaking nervous   But the friends are paying for it, and I've got nothing to lose really.

What do you people think?

def shorter in the back!  I like your bangs though.  I don't know if black would be too dark for you.

as for funky colors in the hair, it is a very personal choice.  I'm sure it would look good.  Maybe you could do the colors first, then do black if you still think you want it?
