Years ago I used Henna and liked the reddish color on my dark blonde hair. I just put some neutral henna on my hair and it made it much thicker and shinier. I am suprised that it is not used more often. What do you guys think of it?

I have used henna for several years and like it very much. Like you, I have also used neutral henna as a conditioner with nice results. I also use it on a friend that is allergic to chemicals and it leaves her hair healthy with lots of shine.

You used it correctly, henna can only ADD color. You can`t use it to lighten your hair.
