Hi ,

Over the past few years I haven`t been able to find a shampoo and conditioner that I like that doesn`t irritate my skin (leaves a red itchy rash on the skin of the under side of my arms) or give me an allergic reaction that causes me to become sick for a week (allergy like symptoms). The only thing I have been able to use is Biolage and it works ok but it causes my face to break out in a few pimples because of the oils it contains. I am not exactly sure what ingredients cause me to have this allergic reaction, but I went to a website that said people who are allergic to beauty and hair products are most likely allergic to the fragrance or the preservatives. Does anyone know af any really good natural products without a lot of fragrance, preservatives, or oils? I really need help. I am running out of options. I can`t use anything at the drug/ grocery stores at all and I have tried many of the salon brands. Any advice? I am going to see a dermatologist in July. Please if you have a suggestion let me know thanks.

Sweetpea:)

I have a very good friend with the same problem - very sensitive to perfumes and dyes. She has been getting excellent results with Phytotherathrie - Phytomiel Baby Shampoo (sold in the Marketplace on this site). It is hypoallergenic and she has had no problems using it at all. Everybody`s hair is different but it is certainly worth a try. Good luck and I hope this helps you in your search. ;)
