haha i am here too! i cut all my damaged hair off (left my roots had about 2" of hair )and have about 5 " of virgin dye/heat free hair to show for it! woot woot , also been popping over at the long hair community forum learn'n a thinger too..

hey chicklett!!! yes, i remember you....your name was cute... know about forgetting passwords.....i have been off the boards because of a really bad haircut.....why would that take me off the boards that i love you ask? i lost my confidence in coloring....i had to get the damaged hair cut off but not like they did it....and then i did this girls hair from blonde and she wanted to go brown and i put brown color on with out doing the brown protein and it turned out red....i thought she was going to put a hit out on me....i don't blame her because of the feelings i have about that bad haircut....i did fix her hair though....i have been reading posts and enjoying it again....i am just coloring my greys now.....i have natural blonde-red hair and am growing it out....i just yesterday used redken shades eq on the greys and the excitement came over me.....turned out great....so feeling better now.....can actually put my hair in a pony tail and by may i am hoping the length will be where i can live with it....why when you have bangs ones hair grows fast but when trying to grow out a hacked up hair cut it goes slow? so, you are going by michelle? has anyone heard from yoda? oh i so remember the sally's incident!! have had a couple of those myself.

I got mine chopped off too and not of a fault of my own. My g.f wanted to put LAYERS in, cause she said she could and that it would give me the ease of backcombing to make a poof, like I wanted. Well... I shouldn't of done that. She made me have this like screwed up mullet, a wannabe mullet, that's what I call it!
So I just went and got it chopped off really short. Now it's long though... I liked the short but I want long long hair... alas!

did you want to kill your g.f.? i bet you freaked.....i know i have several times over this haircut.....i went and got it cut right but it was just so short i could not do anything about it....i have had long hair always....boy oh boy....my hair is curly so it shrunk up and stuck out .....not good....glad you got through your hair trauma bambilee.....mine seems like it is taking forever to grow.....it is not just touching my shoulders but i still cannot just brush it and have it look good like i used to.....messed up hair sucks.
