Debbie Matenopoulos, an E Network entertainment reporter who at one time had nearly waistlength hair, showed up at the SAG Awards with a much shorter hairstyle. If this is as it appears -- and not some pinned up thing -- it's a major cut.
Yikes. Debbie's always had great hair and chosen fun, flattering styles. Which makes me wonder what the idea was here. It's not the length I mind so much, but the style - flat, a bit dry, no actual part, tucked behind the ear, generally just lifeless. Looks suited to cleaning the bathroom, not an awards show.
Your hair is your best accessory; wear it with STYLE!
I hate these kinds of "Major cuts". I don't get why people cut their hair to an "In between" length. It doesn't have the cuteness of short hair or the elegance of long hair. This is why people freak out when they try to go short - they mistakenly follow the advice of "do it in stages". Don't! Having your hair an in between length is NOTHING like the real thing, it's just a crappier version of your own hair. It makes no sense since you're not really getting any closer to having the kind of look or feel a bob has. it's something different until it actually gets to that length.
