need advice on color

Hi  a month ago I used  a color remover color oops and it took out all of the auburn brown I had in my hair.  Yesterday I did  a bleach shampoo to lighten my hair and it is now light brown.  I want to color my hair to even out the color and cover my roots that are now 3 inches  and dark brown.  I don't know what color to use  I was told  since I bleached my  hair and it is now porous i should use a dark blonde.  I want to use a light ash brown  would this be okay on my  hair  and my roots  I don't want uneven color.  _popupControl();
